At each stage of your life there will be choices to make and in order to make good decisions you need to know what options and choices you will have to face as you progress through learning and work.
Your local Connexions centre, schools and colleges all provide resources to help you with important decisions. Don't forget your Connexions Personal Adviser will provide lots of support and advice too.

Choosing your options in years 8 or 9
You will be starting to think about which subjects you would like to continue with and hopefully take for GCSE. Deciding which options to choose can be hard.
Choices in year 11
You will have to make important decisions about what to do next - continue your education full time or start a job or Apprenticeship.
Post 16 choices
You may want to go onto higher education or follow the work-based learning route and get qualifications while you work.
Special needs choices
Do you have special educational needs? If so this doesn't mean your education has to end at 16.
