On the 30th July the young trustees from Connexions Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxford all met up at Longridge activities centre for a beautiful day of teambuilding and communication.

When everyone arrived we first had an informal chat where we learnt everyone’s names, where they were from and a bit about them.  We then all played a game where we had to draw a picture but we couldn’t see it and had to rely on our partners verbal communication skills. This game resulted in some interesting pictures but was it was great fun!

Everyone then went outside and went to a contraption that looked similar to a weird swing but on a much larger scale. This involved two people being strapped in and everyone else pulling them up.  It was really scary but everyone took part and as it involved everyone it helped to build on our teamwork.

After lunch we went back inside and discussed what our responsibilities as young trustees were and learnt a bit more about Connexions.

It was a great day where we learnt a bit more about the other Young Trustees, Connexions and made friends. Everyone left feeling a bit more knowledgeable and optimistic about Connexions.
