On the 4th November 2011, Members of Youth Parliament from all parts of the UK travelled to Westminster to debate and vote on issues that matters to young people.

The debate topics were chosen based on a ballot that over 65,000 youths across the country filled in.

The topics debated were:

1) 'Make public transport cheaper, better and accessible for all.'
2) 'No to tuition fees, yes to graduate tax.'
3) 'Zero tolerance towards bullying in schools.'
4) 'End child poverty.'
5) 'A Greener future for Britain.'

The motion that received the most votes after all the debate sessions was "To make public transport cheaper, better and accessible for all", meaning that this will become UKYP's national campaign of 2011-12.
