If you are still in education at 18 it is likely that you are considering one of two options: higher education or employment.

Higher education
Higher education is the only route to some careers, as well as giving you the opportunity to study a subject you enjoy and develop both personal and career related skills.

Employment and training
More employers are recognising the value of recruiting young people and providing them with a training structure to gain valuable professional qualifications.  You won’t need to take out a student loan or pay tuition fees.
