Young Trustees

If you are aged 16 to 19 years old you could be a Young Trustee for the Connexions Buckinghamshire Board.  Additionally as a Trustee you could attend recruitment panels so you can interview anyone who is applying to work for Connexions Buckinghamshire in a senior level position. 

Connexions Buckinghamshire would welcome young people from any background who are:

• Committed to Connexions Buckinghamshire vision and values
• Able to fulfil duties of a Young Trustee
• Understand the needs of a range of young people
• Feel confident to speak out, with support, in a large meeting
• Prepared to attend training
• Happy to be involved in communications and marketing, with support
• Able to attend Board meetings which meets four times per year
• Prepared to work with others in the local area to ensure ability to represent the views of young people
• We welcome young people who use the Connexions service regularly.

Training will be provided for new members to the team of trustees where you will have the opportunity to speak to existing young trustees about their experiences as well as find out about what Board meetings are all about.
