Labour Market Information

When young people are thinking about their future career it is useful for them to know what their options are so they can see what choices are available to them, for example:  

• where the jobs are, places, industries and occupations
• what types of jobs are available
• the skills and qualifications they need to do these jobs
• the number of people looking for work
• what jobs there will be in the next few years
• the skills and qualifications they need to get a job in the future.
