Connexions Buckinghamshire is for all young people aged 13 to 19 and up to 25 years for those with learning difficulties and disabilities.

Young people access the Connexions service through Connexions Personal Advisers (PAs) who are based in schools, colleges, outreach centres, voluntary organisations and high street centres.

Connexions PAs provide free professional and confidential advice on a range of subjects from careers, education, training, finding a job and writing a CV to helping with exam stress, money, health, homelessness and teenage pregnancy, helping them to move into education, employment and training.

The Connexions service is designed so the needs of individual young people are met; to help all young people reach their full potential and make a successful transition to adult life.

Working in partnership with private and voluntary sector groups and youth and careers services, Connexions brings together all the services and support young people need during their teenage years.  An important part of the service is the involvement of young people - listening to and taking account of their views in the design and delivery of Connexions.
